I had the joy of photographing Cuda & Tara’s wedding a while back, and this spring we met up at one of my all-time favorite places in the Pioneer Valley: Park Hill Orchard in Easthampton. The light was soft, the grass was warm, and their baby? An absolute peach — which felt appropriate given the setting. I’m not saying this kid could star in an organic fruit ad, but I am saying the strawberry jammies nearly sent me into early retirement from the cuteness.
We spread out quilts under the trees, chased dandelions, and took breaks for giggles, snacks, and the occasional leaf inspection. These slow, joy-soaked sessions are such a gift — a reminder that the quiet moments (tiny toes, wind-blown fuzz, two moms in love watching their kid discover grass) are often the ones we remember most. Cuda & Tara, thank you for trusting me with your story, from vows to baby giggles. Can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings (but no pressure... unless it includes a pet goat, in which case I’m available).
