Amanda & George kept it simple & sweet with an intimate farm ceremony overlooking its rolling hills and The Barn at Gibbet Hill, followed by a delicious locally-sourced meal from Gibbet Hill Grill. Surrounded by this gorgeous atmosphere, florals from Copper Penny, and so many tiny smiling faces, the love and joy beaming from this couple was a dream to capture. Congrats to George, Amanda and their families!
When we sat down to share some beers and meet Kim and Brad for the first time, they immediately made us feel like we were long-time friends. They didn't have any specific wedding scheme besides a big no-frills party by the beach. But they WERE excited to describe how they met, and their mutual experience of love at first sight. They admitted it sounds corny, but the way they light up whenever they tell the story, I'm convinced it was real.
The rain moved the "first look" and ceremony inside, but that had no hindrance on the love and excitement radiating from these two and everyone around them. The clouds gave us some beautiful soft light for photos on the deck, and we could see the ocean mist through the windows as they exchanged vows. Kim surprised everyone by turning to Brad's daughter, one of their bridesmaids, during the ceremony - and reciting vows to her too (cue the tears - taking pictures while crying is one of my favorite challenges in this job!)
After the ceremony, the rain had slowed to a drizzle, so they got adventurous and wandered the beach with us for some moody, wind-swept photos and quiet moments alone. It was a great segue into a night of unruly fun and downright dirty dancing. After dark, a huge storm was whipping against the windows by the dance floor, but the celebration rocked on.
We laughed, we cried, and we had a blast. Congrats to this incredibly sweet and genuine couple!

The ocean has been a theme throughout the love story of this warm and fun-loving couple from the North Shore of Boston. He proposed to her on the beach, so we chose the ocean as the focus for their engagement session -- where they actually jumped into the water fully clothed! A year later, Nikki and Matt tied the knot to the sound of waves crashing on the shore at the brand new Beauport Hotel in Gloucester. A booming celebration followed without a single dull moment, thanks to this fun and lively crew!
- First look and bridal party photos were taken at Stage Fort Park.
- All-night dance party fueled by XOX Band
- Nikki's dress was found at J-Line Bridal in Northborough
- Hair & makeup by J Michaels Salon
Andrei and Sai are getting married by the ocean this fall, so they opted for a spring engagement session in Boston. They walked with us along the esplanade, braving the chilly April weather for some beautiful views of the cherry blossoms and cute moments by the river. We're excited to see this sweet couple get married in September!
A couple of adventure-seeking Bostonians are getting married next year, so we braved the busy North End after a stroll through the Commons for some stolen moments in our favorite city nooks. The sky turned pink just as we reached the water, and after zipping through block after block, these two were nothing but smiles 'til the end. Congrats Felicia and Alex: We can't wait to capture your celebration!
Sarah and Kevin fell in love in Harvard Square, so we picked that area to wander the streets and bridges of the Charles, getting to know them and capturing their sweet and quirky personalities. Sarah insisted she'd be forever awkward in front of the camera, but her hilarious stories andwillingness to dive into our ideas resulted in so many fun and natural shots. Mother Nature rewarded all of that walking with a beautiful sunset just as we were wrapping up. Thank you, Kevin and Sarah for a great afternoon!
