The fact that Brittany is a teacher came through in so many aspects of her wedding: pages of her favorite book made into a carpet with rose petals down the aisle, the inventive use of old tea tins as vases for her centerpieces, the timeless fairytale elegance of her gown, and especially her choice in venue: The Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation, which they picked both for the history and the way parts of it reminded them of Hogwarts. The day gave us a healthy mix of tears, curiosities, and fun. Brian’s vows to Brittany had everyone crying on the deck overlooking the water, followed by cocktail hour with oysters in the museum area. There were so many clever details that fit right in with the surroundings of this place, which already had a million fascinating things to look at! The following reception took place in an open area upstairs, where we had an absolutely delicious Porchetta dinner from Pennypacker’s that fueled a crazy and hilarious dance party into the night.
Congratulations Brittany and Brian, and thank you so much for choosing us to capture your big day!
