Maddie’s senior portrait session at Ashley Reservoir had that golden-hour glow that makes everything feel cinematic. We wandered the woods and water’s edge, chasing that last bit of summer warmth. Maddie brought her mom and sister along for the ride, which meant we got to sneak in some beautiful multi-generational magic (and a healthy amount of group laughter that had nothing to do with my posing instructions and everything to do with sisterly side commentary).
From soft forest paths to mirror-like reflections, Maddie moved through each spot like she was born to be in that light — casual, radiant, and full of ease. Every senior session is a little celebration of who someone is right now, and this one felt like an ode to strength, softness, and having your people close by to cheer you on — or at least make fun of your "serious face" between shots.
