We feel awkward in front of the camera. Can you work with that?
- That’s what I do! Most of my clients have this concern, which is totally understandable. I won’t just hold up a camera and expect you to pose yourselves. I’ll take the time to chat, get to know you, pick up on your cues and your comfort zones and go from there. I like to offer plenty of guidance while staying ready to capture those unexpected moments too.
Do you have liability insurance?
- Yup! And not just because a lot of venues require it. Having insurance makes me feel like a responsible adult.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
- I’m based in Western MA (Holyoke), but I travel for most of my weddings, so let me know where you're getting married and I’ll see if I can make it work!
Do you back up your images?
- I have back-ups of my back-ups, and your images will live forever online at your personal gallery link.
How long will it take to get my photos?
- You'll see my favorites within 48 hours. The rest of them will be edited over the course of 4-8 weeks.
How many photos do we get?
- From an 8 hour day you’ll probably receive 700-800 images, but every wedding is different. I don't aim for a specific number. My goal is to capture everything and tell the full story of your day. This may seem like a lot, but there’s a lot going on, usually lots of people, and I try to capture as many different perspectives as possible. I love it when my clients get to see something for the first time through my photos because they didn’t see it on the day of.
Do you offer boudoir?
- Yes!
I see a lot of candids. Do you also shoot details and posed group photos?
- Absolutely. It's not often you'll be with so many important people in your life all at once, and I will help you embrace that while keeping it flowing smooth. Not only do I capture as many "formal photos" as you want (with a list made ahead of time), but I do my best to photograph every guest. Sometimes that means being an eagle eye to get that action shot of a real moment, and sometimes that means noticing a group of people together and offering to take a group photo. I aim for a healthy mix of both. Visit my blog to view start-to-finish highlights from some recent weddings.
Will you edit the photos?
- I inspect and edit every single image on a 27” display. No batch editing. No outsourcing.
We don't know what we're doing! Is that okay?
- It’s normal! When you book with me, you get more than just photos. You get unlimited communication and support before, during, and after your wedding day. You get my expert assistance so you can relax and have fun when your big day comes.
