Hello, fall! The combination of rustic tones, elegant design, stunning views and straight up ROMANCE made Susie and Brian's wedding day feel like a real-life fairytale. Susie's creative vision started with the historic and natural atmosphere of the Fruitlands Museum, with a ceremony overlooking acres of fall foliage at sunset. Warm light echoed from one metallic detail to the next, complimented by rich florals and natural accents throughout. Even the DIY parts felt unreal: they hand-poured maple syrup from a family farm as favors for their guests, and Susie did all of the handwritten signage and calligraphy on the escort cards.
The New England autumn goodness began when guests were offered cider and donuts before being seated on the hill for the ceremony. Just as they said "I do," the sun started dipping into the horizon, and we went right into a photo walk as as the light shifted from warm hues into the soft purple twilight. Dinner and toasts followed under a tent, where the enchanting theme continued. They added personal touches, too: a "world map" for guests to sign (a nod to Brian's proposal in Europe) and a photo garland of old family wedding photos (obviously a favorite detail of ours!) The newlyweds danced into the night with their families and friends, sharing tons of sweet and lively moments. Congrats to this very happy couple!
