Hallie and James’ late spring wedding at The BARN at Liberty Farms was the kind of celebration that unfolds like a perfect song: a little slow and sweet at the start, then full-blown joyful chaos by the second chorus. After a cozy, pizza-fueled welcome dinner at the venue’s glampsite — complete with wood-fired pies and big hugs from traveling guests — everyone settled in for a weekend of love and laughter. Hallie got ready in the farmhouse Airbnb on the property with her closest people, followed by an emotional first look on the hilltop overlooking the Catskills. After group portraits by the barn, they made it official under a flower-laced arbor in the woods, surrounded by loved ones and buzzing June magic.
Once the newlyweds shared their first dance, the hora broke loose — a swirl of limbs, laughter, and airborne newlyweds. It set the tone for a reception that never lost momentum. Later in the night, James was lifted up on the dance floor again by his groomsmen (still smiling, still thriving), and an impromptu limbo line broke out, because of course it did. Guests snacked on s’mores and grilled cheese between dance battles and heartfelt speeches, and the whole night pulsed with the kind of joy you can’t plan — just the kind you hope for.
