Lynn and Chad did something we’ve never documented before: they designed their own elopement as a tour of all of their favorite places and activities where they live. Starting with both of them getting ready in their log cabin they’ve been building together, the day included a private ceremony on their favorite trail in the woods, antiquing at their favorite local consignment shop, dinner around the corner at “The Gavel,” some home construction shopping at the Home Depot, and finally some beer, darts and pool at their favorite local bar. All of this went down on a Tuesday, May 1st: the day that marked three years together.
”The two of us are quirky individuals who appreciate Budweiser and Jameson Whiskey, billiards, darts, bowling, antiquing, and wandering around the forest. We enjoy laughing at ourselves, and meeting new people. We are laid back, casual, good for some laughs, and often like to randomly shoot beer cans in the backyard with our tiny little BB gun while sitting on the tailgate of his tiny pickup truck. Our meeting was a wild story in and of itself, followed by a year of kinky fuckery and loads of personal growth for both of us. We have been together for almost 3 years (May 1 will be the big 3!). Neither of us wanted to get married and denied the possibility vehemently for the better part of 2 years. One day, we both had an epiphany about the whole thing, and well, here we are.”
