Collette and Kyle met through a mutual friend, so it seemed fitting that they wanted a whole weekend full of warmth, fun, and togetherness for everyone attending their big day. They got all of that and more at the Lakeside Village Resort in Weare: lakeside cabins for everyone, an adorable beach for the ceremony, and their own private rowboat adventure at sunset.
Kyle is an engineer who loves creating things, so he took part in some of the more detailed parts of the decor. The wedding bands seemed fitting, too: mokume-gane is a metalworking technique which produces a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. Taking on the appearance of natural wood grain, these rings are a perfect blend of human innovation and organic, natural beauty. He also picked out some Saxx underwear as gifts to his groomsmen, resulting in a cheeky photo shoot in front of the giant stone fireplace at their cabin- a nod to their sense of humor and quirky personalities!
We are so happy to have captured these moments for such sweet people. Congrats Collette and Kyle!
